When I eat or drink, should I take off my

Invisalign aligners?

Absolutely! Taking out your aligners before eating and drinking will ensure the trays last the two weeks needed to readjust the teeth. It can also prevent the trays from staining and discoloring for a more discreet appearance.

How often should I switch to a new set of aligners?

Most of our patients change their trays every two weeks, moving on to the next one. Due to the added pressure of the new aligner, patients can experience some discomfort during the first day or two of changing their trays.

Can Invisalign help with teeth spacing issues, like gaps between teeth?

Yes! Many patients with spaces and gaps near the front of their smiles can resolve these issues by using Invisalign aligners. If cosmetic imperfections are the primary concern, patients with mild misalignment will often enjoy the results of their treatment within a shorter period of time. Those with bite alignment issues and overcrowding may require longer treatment times.

Can Invisalign help with crowded or overlapped teeth?

Yes! Patients may even need to talk to their dentist about removing teeth if overcrowding is severe and the teeth cannot be realigned with repositioning alone.
